Obituary of Donald Roy Rowekamp

Donald Roy Rowekamp, 79, of Great Falls, Montana, and most recently of Montesano, Washington, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2021. Don requested no funeral service and cremation has taken place at McComb & Wagner Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelton, Washington. He will be laid to rest alongside his wife of 45 years, Phyllis Marian Rowekamp at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Great Falls, Montana. Don was born to Herbert and Lucille (Dahlstrom) Rowekamp on June 13, 1941 in Conrad, Montana. He graduated from Great Falls High School and married the love of his life, Phyllis, with whom he welcomed two children, Dale and Donna. Don was an inquisitive and tender-hearted man, daily visiting with friends and family. He was always ready with his opinion and up for a debate. He loved to watch wrestling and football while enjoying a great cheeseburger and chocolate chip cookies. Don often spoke of his kids and grandkids and took great pride in family. He recently came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his son Dale (Dani) Rowekamp of Montesano, Washington, their children Luke (14), Gabe (11), twin girls Chloe & Haddie (7); and his daughter Donna (Wade) Thorson of Hortonville, Wisconsin and their children Henry (15), Tommy (11), Elliana (9), Gabriella (6), and Uriah (4).
