Gabe never ceased to put a smile on everybody's face.
With Lilly and him being closer than close throught their childhood, I got to know Gabe on our nightly summer walks that included Gabe, Lilly, Hannah, and I. We all were neighbors. Sometimes we would lay on the roof by the water tower hiding from every car that drove by, or sometimes we would sit next to the creek, throw rocks, and talk for hours. Whatever we did, whatever adventure we had, those are the memories that I will cherish forever.
When someone thinks about a role model, they might think about someone who was born before them, "older & wiser;" I think of Gabe. Although younger, he taught me so many things about being a good person. Who he was, who he IS, is nothing less than spectacular. His selfless, kind, and beautiful personality will be remembered and missed forever.
Thank you for sharing such a perfect soul with the world.
