Obituary of Andrew L Skupnick
Andrew Louis Skupnick, “Mr. Andy”, 68 of Hoquiam, Washington passed away on
Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. Andrew was born June
10, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Andrew Alex and Norma Jean (Gray) Skupnick.
Andy married April 27, 1978 in Clintwood, Virginia to Alice Hawkins Skupnick.
Graduated from Waynesburg High School as an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of
America. Andy worked in healthcare as Director of Environmental Services, chemical
sales, and owned a sales route as a distributor for President Baking (of course that was
the job his children loved most, especially unlimited access to the cookies). He realized
his true calling when he accepted Christ and went on to fulfill this passion by achieving
Pastoral certification in 2002. Andy founded His Place Fellowship, a non-denominational
faith where all were welcomed. Andy loved the outdoors, traveling, birdwatching, sitting
by the ocean, spending time with family, and speaking fearlessly and passionately to
others about Christ. Andy was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps,
receiving an honorable discharge as an PVT E-1 on May 13, 1972.
In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his beloved youngest sister Susan J (Criss)Frankenberry.

incredibly special bond with two of his cousins, Karen Christopher (Joey) and Alex J.
