Obituary of June J Chapman

June J Chapman age 82, of Shelton passed away Monday morning April 12th 2021 at her residence. She was born April 27th 1938 in mason county, a daughter of the late Harry and Mabel Kidd. June is survived by her son Brian Chapman, her two daughters Jeannine Chapman and Laurie Jennings. 6 grandchildren Josh Jennings, Shannon Jennings, Nancy Jennings, Kassidy Daniels, Kendall Lowe, and Kaitlin Geist. And many great-grandchildren. As a homemaker she enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family. Before her later years June worked in logging and mills paving the way for women and raising 3 generations of children to be strong and independent. A mom, a grandma, and a great grandma too, This is the legacy we have from you You taught us love and how to fight You gave us strength; you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, And in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another Not just as a mother, not just as a grandmother. For all of us you gave your best And now the time has come for you to rest. So, go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep, Your love in our hearts we’ll eternally keep.
