Obituary of Margaret Parry

Margaret E. (Peggy) Parry, beloved mother of Tony, Liz and Maggie. Married to Hugh Parry from 1947 until his death in 2013. Beloved grandmother of David Herberg, Laura Herberg, Jenny Lougheed Sullivan, Crissi Parry and Angela Turner. Five great-grandchildren. Also survived by special nephews Peter, John and James Frey. Veteran of the Canadian Navy, served as a signalwoman in Halifax, Nova Scotia during WWII. Member of the Lake City Presbyterian Church and choir with husband, Hughie, for decades. Served as PTA President, church Deacon, bowled on a women's league, loved to sing, avid reader, exceptional hostess, sewed beautiful clothing for her girls and grandchildren. Loved watching the Mariners' and Seahawks' games. Attributed her high IQ to her "excellent Canadian schooling." Peggy was well loved and will be missed by all.
