Mike was a true and generous friend and was one of three USAF airmen who met and came together at Castle AFB, CA, in 1966, when the three of us served as flight simulator specialists. Mike, Rob, and I melded together, as close as brothers. Our off-duty time was made more enjoyable by Mike's friendly nature. His passing was a shock to both Rob and myself. Our hearts go out to all of Mike's family and friends. Mike, though you "...have slipped the surly bonds of Earth," you can now "...put out [your] hand, and touch.. the face of God." {credit: John Gillespie Magee}
