Obituary of David Milton Tinsley

David Milton Tinsley, age 82, passed away peacefully at his home on June 14, 2021. Dave was born on April 21, 1939, to George and Martha Tinsley in Richmond, Indiana. Dave loved golfing, hunting, fishing, music, baseball, and being outdoors. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed spending time laughing and joking with friends and family. After serving in the U.S. Army, Dave moved to California in 1962. He married Juanita DeLorme in 1963 and started a family, which he moved to Shelton, Washington in 1972. Their marriage ended in divorce in 1977. He married Ramona Smith in 1978. Dave was preceded in death by his wife Ramona in 2016 and his grandson Jerame Humphreys in 2012. He is survived by children Toni Monnier (Marty), Mike Tinsley (Leesa), John Tinsley, Kevin Tinsley (Bobbi), Becky Hall (Shane), Don Smith, Mick Smith, Sherri Pierce (Mike) Bill Smith (Tonya), and Tony Smith, brother Jack Tinsley of Arizona, sisters Deanna Deason and Kathy Gallant of California, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Dave regularly supported charities benefitting children and wildlife. Donations in his honor would be appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
