Obituary of Harold Nelson Roberts

Harold N. Roberts November 25, 1932 Harold died June 28, 2021, while residing at Alpine Way memory care facility in Shelton. He suffered from Alzheimer’s and cancer. Harold and his wife Enid Culp Henderson, the love of his life, whom he married Jan. 10th 1980, owned Roberts Insurance Associates LLC in Tacoma, WA. Harold enjoyed the insurance business, and never planned to retire. He and Enid travelled around the world on business trips visiting many countries, some more than once. Harold was a life-long Mason. He enjoyed golf, card games, gardening, fishing, and cruising in their yacht (La Mouette) throughout Puget Sound and beyond for many years as a member of the Tacoma Yacht Club. He was a life member of the Steilacoom Historical Museum Society, and served on the Steilacoom town council. Prior to his illness, Harold was a member of the Olympia Golf and Country Club. He served in the US Navy, and per his wishes he will have a military memorial at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA, where he will be interred. Harold leaves behind his wife Enid, and his families, clients, and friends. He will be missed by all.
