Obituary of Rosalie Diane Depoe
Rosalie Diane Depoe was born April 27th, 1953 to Merlin and Violeta Rickards in Bremerton, Washington, and passed away on June 29th, 2021.
She was baptized at Seventh Day Adventist Church where the family attended church. Rosalie went to Seventh Day Adventist Church School including high school at the Seventh Day Adventist Auburn Academy. Then her tenth grade year, she attended Shelton High School, where she met her future husband, Donald Depoe.
Rosalie graduated from Shelton High School in June of 1972 and was married to Donald Depoe on July 6th of 1972. She worked various jobs in Shelton throughout the years. She raised two children, Theodore Depoe, born in 1976 and Crystal Charles, born in 1981.
Her hobbies included selling Fuller Brush Company and Watkins, where she loved to visit for hours at her customers and friend’s houses. She bowled on a league for many years and raised farm animals. Other hobbies included hunting and fishing. Rosalie volunteered and raised money for Toys for Kids for a number of years. Rosalie was very social and loved drinking coffee while she talked to her friends. She was love by all!
Rosalie is survived by her husband Don Depoe, son Ted (Marti) Depoe, daughter Crystal (Jason) Charles, granddaughters Amelia and Stella.
There will be a viewing on Friday, July 16th at 4:00 to 6:00pm at McComb & Wagner, 1718 W. Railroad Ave in Shelton, WA.
Rosalie’s Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 17th at 4:00pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 210 W. Shelton Valley Road in Shelton, WA.
