very saddend to hear of norines passing. she and jack and kids were like a second faimily to me. the video was a wonderful tribute to her. thank you ( sherry) for the card letting me know of her death. condolences to all her family.

I'm terribly saddened to hear of Mrs Jefferys. I was her teachers assistant for many of her classes in sewing and other classes. She meant the world to me. She taught me how to balance a checkbook, write a budget and shop for groceries. I learned how to sew and cook and most of all I learned about having compassion and not to judge. She was an amazing woman. My deepest sympathies to her family. Renata Neate

Norine was my Home Economics teacher in (I think) the 8th grade. I remember how annoyed I would get when she made us scrub the sink in the kitchens at the end of the cooking sessions. And now as an adult, as I scrub my sink in the evening, I think of her and how she was just instilling good habits in us. I thoroughly enjoyed her no nonsense approach in that class. Sending prayers of comfort in this difficult time. She was a great lady.
