Obituary of Lois Gathoni Kirika

Lois Gathoni Kirika journeyed home on November 7, 2021 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. Lois was born March 17, 1943 in Uthiru, Kenya. She came to the United States on September 12, 1962. She went on to get her Masters Degree in teaching from San Francisco University in California. While attending school she met Moses Kirika who also was attending the university. They later married on February 13, 1965, and had one son. They later made the decision to move to Shelton, Washington in 2004, where they have resided for the last 17 years. Lois had a passion for teaching. She loved flowers, reading and her family. Lois and Moses are both members of St. David’s Episcopal Church in Shelton. Lois Gathoni Kirika is survived by her Husband of 56 years, Moses Kirika, and their son, Kimotho Kirika. Lois will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
