Crystal was my cousin, she was quiet, but she listened, she never missed a beat. She was sweet, intelligent. The youngest old soul that you could ever meet, and have the privilege to adore in your lifetime. She never hurt anyone, she would scream over a spider but then tell you not to kill it cuz it might be a mom w babies. Lol crystal was someone that once you knew, you loved and there was nothing that could change or take that love back. Everyday that you knew her, that love grew strong. I could say that her and my brother Cody, who had also passed, we’re very kindred souls. Being in their presence there was always something to learn but you never knew they were teaching you because of how subtle and kind they were, how they spoke, was always with kindness. The fruits of the spirit were with them always. And…James: slow to speak but quick to listen was who they ARE and always will be. They live on everyday in the hearts of our family, in our everyday lives, our nights, nights are always the hardest. They say it gets easier but all these years later, it hasn’t. The love is strong, it’s a bond that will never leave and can never be forgotten. So please, if you read this, and there is someone you love but have words unsaid, please don’t keep hesitating to tell them the words of your heart. You never know when you won’t have that chance again. Life is…broken, beautiful, special, a challenge, selfless, sometimes confusing, but never something that God intended us to waste. So please, love yourselves but also always love who surrounds your heart. We love and miss you Cody and crystal! And we’re praying for you Clarence!!! Come home to us!
