Milla was my niece by marriage and she was my age. I loved her dearly. I want to share a memory that highlights Milla’s singing talent and generous spirit. I asked her to go to my friend’s choir at Montesano High School to share her insights as a professional singer She asked the kids to do singing warm up exercises with her which delighted my friend as she felt the students needed reinforcement in that area. Milla sang a lovely rendition of Summertime which mesmerized everyone in the room. Milla then shared a few stories of her singing career and had all of us laughing. I will always remember Milla as talented, beautiful, and funny. Brenda Klimek
