Obituary of Cathy D Bourget
Cathy Darlene Bourget, nee West, 70, of Shelton, WA., cozied up with our Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, December 26, 2021 as a result of long-term respiratory symptoms associated with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
Cathy was born on January 20, 1951, in Aberdeen, Washington and was a veteran of the United States Army. She served honorably in the Army before being medically retired as a disabled veteran and obtaining the Army Commendation Medal.
Cathy Bourget: disabled Army veteran, passionate artist, exquisite singer, phenomenal gardener of butterflies, lover of children, heralded leader, acquisitioner of all things bedazzled, creative business owner, patriot among patriots, devoted follower of Jesus, worshiper of God for all eternity! “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was and is, and is to come!!!”
She was preceded in death by her mother, June West (Bailey). Surviving are her children: Regina (Tom) Piazza of Destin, FL, Albert Louis Pritz IV of Dallas, TX.; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Jack, and Caroline Piazza, Aereona Dycus (Ryan), Dakota, and Destin Pritz. She is also survived by her father, Paul West (Mary Lou), her brothers Guy and John and her sister Tammy Hinkkanen (Ray).
McComb & Wagner Funeral Home in Shelton will lead a procession to Tahoma National Cemetery, Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 11:00am, where a full military funeral with honors will commemorate Cathy’s bravery and dedication to serving our country. Following the funeral, Cathy’s family will privately celebrate her life.
