Obituary of Gregory Allen McCaslin

Gregory Allen McCaslin, born November 26, 1936 in Hoquiam, WA, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 in Olympia, WA following an extended illness. Greg grew up in Olympia, attended local schools and graduated from Olympia High School. Upon graduation, Greg served in the U.S Navy and was stationed at the U.S Naval Station, Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Hawaii. Returning to Seattle, Greg attended community college, worked at Boeing, started C and G Construction Company in Olympia, and continued to work in real estate. Greg had many loves and interests in his life. He was intrigued with history, was an avid fisherman, ballroom dancer, and proud Gpa to six amazing grandchildren. Greg is survived by his wife, Marsha Woods of Olympia, his three children, Greg McCaslin of Olympia, Chris McCaslin of Seattle, Deborah McCaslin of SeaTac, two stepsons, Greg (Dana) Woods of Olympia, Chris (Julie) Woods of Olympia, six grandchildren, Conner, Tyler, Hayden, Carson and Kellen Woods, his sister Carol Bonoi of Lacey, and several nieces and nephews. Always present at the grandkids’ activities brought him great joy. Precious memories with family with family friends, fishing the rivers, dancing in the moonlight……..forever in our hearts.
