Obituary of Marvin Pasquan

Marvin "Marv" Pasquan 2/26/1933 – 4/15/2022 Marv Pasquan went to be with his heavenly Father, April 15th, 2022, at his home on Spencer Lake. He joined his beloved wife, Jackie and his son, John, who he truly missed. Born in Roslyn, WA and raised in Puyallup, Marv loved music and attended Seattle U on a music scholarship. While attending college, he met Jackie McDonald. They were both cheerleaders and cheered each other on throughout their lives. They were married 66 ½ years and raised three sons, Steve (Wendy), John and Jim. They had nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. Marv had an amazing life. He served in the military, was a retailer and a very well-loved wholesale clothing rep. At 55 years of age, he cofounded Morning Sun Sportswear with his best friend, Ferdy Kollar. He always considered himself a blue-collar worker in a white-collar business. As successful as Marv was in business, his true passion was helping others. He said that nothing excited him more than raising money for those less fortunate than he. He spent endless hours supporting causes like Shelton's Saint's Pantry Food bank, Community Lifeline Shelter and children's backpack programs. Marv loved his local sports teams, fishing, telling stories and above all, his family. He loved to travel and along with Jackie, visited over 40 countries. He also adored his dog Clancy, who stayed by his side and comforted him. "Grandpa Marv" was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy that will live on forever and he will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
