Christina "Tina" Foster

Obituary of Christina "Tina" Mae Foster

The Foster family is heartbroken to announce that Christina Mae Foster (Johnson), 69, born in Tumwater, took her last breath on Monday, April the 25th of 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. Tina, as she was known, passed away peacefully at her home in Shelton surrounded by loved ones. She was a wonderful wife and mother who cared deeply for her family, her community, her friends and who spread happiness wherever she went, especially during the holidays, her favorite time of the year, when she would go all out decorating, crafting and gifting others to spread her love and joy. She was a well-loved and active member of the community in Shelton, where she lived for 48 years, worked at Foster & Williams Architects for 29 years and volunteered for several local groups and committees throughout the years, including the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Program for Mason County. Tina was a huge Seahawks and Cougars fan, she loved to travel and explore our beautiful country, enjoyed crafting and hanging out with her sisters; she was one of nine siblings. She was predeceased by her parents Dale O. Johnson and Lois Johnson (Gaetz), her brothers Dennis and Larry, and is survived by her husband Grant, her son Neil (Isabel) and siblings Gaye Lynn, Lee Ann, Gloria, Ronnie, Debbie and Tammie. She will be sadly missed, joyfully remembered and will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts. As per Tina’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
