Obituary of Donna L Fugere
Donna L Fugere was born in Seattle. She moved with her family to Seward, Alaska. As a child, she loved all kinds of outdoor activities. From swimming in the summer to sledding in the winter, she enjoyed it all. She lived there until she was 12, then her family returned to Seattle. As a young girl, Donna took up dancing. Dancing was a passion she pursued throughout her life. The music that inspired her to dance was the same music that inspired her to sing. She participated in various community choirs. She even went on tour with one of her singing groups to sing in New York City!
Donna was a lady whose heart was fueled by creativity. She was a very clever lady and a talented crafter. Whether it was sewing, knitting, cooking, or baking, she did it all and she did it with excellence.
She was fascinated by genealogy and enjoyed researching her family tree and the history therein.
She was a gracious hostess. She would shine like the sun whenever company came over, because entertaining was one of her favorite things. She loved to visit and joke around with her family and friends, and the sound of her bright, happy laughter always filled the room with infectious joy!
Donna had an insatiable hunger for adventures. She and her husband would often conquer the open road in their RV, driving all over creation in search of exciting new places to explore and treasures to find. Along with her true, constant companion she would also venture out to sea for some fun. Donna was a big fan of boating and went for many thrilling excursions out on the water.
Donna’s life was colored with beauty and lived with love. She is survived by her devoted husband Curtis Fugere, her daughter Kellie Heisler, her son Brett Olson, and her precious grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Judy, Brenda, and Lana. When Donna married Curt, she acquired 7 sisters in law and 3 brothers in law. Donna had a very warm and welcoming way about her, so she was instantly adored by her new big family. In fact, Donna was instantly adored by all who knew her. Her smile was always genuine, her words were sweet and kind. She is dearly loved by many and she will be greatly missed.
