Walter Bradford Tupper
June 18, 1923 ~ August 21, 2022
Veteran of WW2 and the Korean War.The last survivor of the USS Salute AM 294 that was sunk off the coast of Borneo June 8, 1945. Newspaper owner and sports writer for the Puyallup Herald. Crossword puzzler genius. Historian extraordinaire.
Preceded in death by his wife Betty, father Warren, mother Mildred, brother Robert, sister-in-law Norma, son Mykl, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Nancy. Survived by daughter Terry, son Robin, daughter-in-law Jacqueline. Grandchildren Jennifer (James), David B, Mandy, Tasha, Karissa, Biffy. Great grandchildren Sarajayne (Ty) Ryan (Luiz), Annalisa, Isaac. Great great grandchildren Dylan, Tylynn (Travis), Lukais, Madden, Everlee. Great great great granddaughter Adelaide. Nieces & nephews Marsha, Bobby, Gary (dec) Michael, Christopher, Scott & Eric.
A memorial service will be held in June 2023.
