After serving during the Vietnam war, he settled in Olympia, Washington working at Continental Can (later Crown Cork and Seal) until retirement. He was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing, hunting and gardening and was a talented wood carver. He had a love for the water and would often spend his time scuba diving (as a young man) and fishing. He was a man who knew no stranger and with his amusing and enjoyable personality, was never short of friends. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the members of the Grays Harbor Home Health and Hospice. Their dedication and efforts to provide quality care over the last 10 months have been a heartwarming blessing to the entire family. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him.
