Q: What was Forrest really good at?
A: As many know, Forrest could skate like none other. Not a special memory of my own but one that many grew to understand about him. But that is how we first connected, and how together we gained many other friends and acquaintances over the years. I was never any good (not like him at least) but the adventures and the memories I have from that chunk of years will never be lost. He made me passionately enjoy the culture of something I knew I could never really be a part of by just being around him, enjoying his energy and his friendship and learning so much from him. We faded apart for some time until we grew closer together again late in 2021 and I missed those moments I’d lost for years and I will miss him immensely. Somebody I would never have wished ill will on, or want to see go this early. Forrest was a tremendous friend even at a distance, even after time apart. Genuine, caring, honest and true. A soul nobody wants to have to miss like this. I’m sorry
