Christine G. Bennett was born September 13, 1963, to John K. and Peggy M. (Slater) Bennett in Shelton, WA and she passed away December 20, 2022 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.
Christe graduated from Shelton High School in 1982 and later attended Trend College in Olympia, where she made the Dean’s list. Christe’s career included working in Christmas trees, caring for the elderly, archiving for MC Sheriff’s office and MC Prosecutor’s office, working for MC District Court and finally for her favorite, Shelton Timberland Library, where she made many good friends and retired from in December 2019.
Christe was an excellent participant in Spell-E-Bration and received several awards as a member of the winning team. Christe enjoyed music, family gatherings, watching football and reading. She lived a quiet life and will be missed by those lucky enough to know her.
She is survived by her brother, Curt Bennet (Joan) sisters, Cathe Bennett, Carol Nelson (Randy) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A gathering will be held after the weather warms up. Donations may be made to Sound Learning.
