Obituary of Eileen Bambans

4/10/1936 - 2/1/2023 Eileen C. Bambans, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, left this earth on February 1, 2023. Eileen was born in Middlesex, London, England and immigrated first to Canada and then the United States, where she became a citizen. She met her husband Richard in England and the two of them created a life together in the Seattle area. They eventually retired to Hoodsport, Washington and spent many happy years together in their house on Hood Canal. Eileen was proud of her British heritage and never lost her British accent. She was a strong, kind woman with a good sense of humor and a lifelong love of Siamese cats. Family was the most important part of her life and always her first priority. Richard preceded Eileen in death in 2014 as did her daughter, Lisa, in 2019. She is survived by daughter Karen and granddaughter Marina, as well as cherished nieces and nephews both here and abroad. At her request, there will be no service.
