Dale Leroy Williamson died on the morning of 20 February, 2023 at the age of 91 in Shelton, Washington.
Dale was born on July 24, 1931 in South Bend, Washington where he grew up and went to school. After graduating Dale enlisted in U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War. After his enlistment he was a dairy farmer and lumber mill worker in Tillamook, Oregon and on March 1971 married Wanda Lorrain Padgett in Hillsboro, Oregon. Together they started and ran the Swing In Cafe in Netarts Oregon and also owned the Tides In Cafe in Netarts on two different occasions until they finally retired from the restaurant business.
Dale was preceded in death by Wanda and also by a brother and sister.
Dale is survived by; sons, Frank DuPois, Gene DuPois, Kent Williamson, Jay Williamson and daughters, Vonetta Burns, Terry Daggett and Darla Morey; 18 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Dale will be interred next to Wanda at the Bay City, Oregon IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dale’s name may be made to a charity of choice.
