Nettie was one of the first people I met when I moved to Shelton in 2005. She and Kelly were wonderful to work with as volunteer tutors at Sound Learning (then still using the name Mason County Literacy), and became friends as well.
Nettie's smile, humor, and kindness stand out in all of my memories of her.
All of us as Sound Learning mourn her loss and will celebrate her contribution to our community through the support and giving of her time and talent to many adults, certainly with a mention of her contributions at our 2023 Spring Spell-Bration event on June 2nd. in Shelton.
I hope to be present at the spreading of her ashes as a final tribute to a wonderful person.
