My grandma was so special. She was my best friends. A huge inspiration and always knew exactly what to say right when I needed to hear it most. I will forever miss her and forever make sure no one forgets her. She was one of a kind. There was no one like her. She also knew the whole town. Which meant anytime we went anywhere we stopped and talk to half a billion people but it made me realize that I wanna be a quarter of the women she was. I love you grandma and will forever be here to make you proud. Fly high❤️

All my Aunts are unique in their own way. Aunt Sandy was a "take change, in charge" type of person. She loved planning family events and she always made sure to take care of the gravesites at the cemetery. I loved spending time with her. Her house was always the first stop I made into Shelton, cuz her house was always filled with friends and family. Before leaving we would stop at the Pine Tree to say goodbyes. I went out with her one time and heard her sing the song D-I-V-O-R-C-E and I truely was amazed how well she sang it. She was such a good friend and listener, she made sure everyone was taken care of, but thats who she was.

She is a wonderful soul.. we met at Evergreen Elementary several years ago.. she always supported teachers and I worked in a dual language school. She was impressed that I worked my way from Para educator to Substitute teacher and then teacher in English and Spanish. She saw my children growing up around me and enjoyed my version of parenting.. it has always been unique but she was in awe of the way I was with my own children, one being autistic. She loved to visit my classroom and praised my graduation. She always had s smile and something motivational to say. She picked me up when I was down and loved to hear me sing, st school, for social events and with my students. She is s bright light. Peace be with you always my dear friend! Hugs Martinique

I grew up in Shelton, spent a lot of time at the Pine Tree and went to school with Wendy and Kelly. Throughout the years, I was always welcomed in her home with a warm smile, she was a true blessing to me. She helped me through the loss of my husband and was so caring and helpful. She was such a beautiful soul and will be forever missed.

Sandy was a favorite cousin who I greatly miss. I am thankful for our many connections, especially our last phone call shortly before her passing. She would often affirm her love for me at the conclusion of the call. As a child I remember her friendly nature and great personality. As an adult she was cozy like a warm robe. I enjoyed the family reunions at her house and all of the times we spent together. Love you, Sandy
