Obituary of Carla Clark

Carla Mae Clark was born October 26, 1936 and passed on September 8, 2023. She is survived by her grandchildren Joshua Norton and Jessica Jones and her 6 great grandchildren. Carla was a mother to 3, Marianne Norton, Kenneth Clark and Christopher Clark. Unfortunately, all her children passed before her. Carla was a tough woman who endured many hardships throughout her life. She grew up during the great depression with her brother James McNaughton. She moved around alot growing up and finally settled when she met her then husband Kenneth Clark who blessed her with 3 children. Carla worked all her life but it wasn't until she worked for an armored truck company that ultimately ended her working career. Carla hurt her back, had surgery with complications that almost took her ability to walk and live. Carla was such a strong woman and beat the odds. She was able to walk again with a cane and walker. Carla loved plants and flowers and was part of the Mason County Master Gardeners. She enjoyed learning and growing along side her daughter. She attended the local plant sales and supported the community in that way. Carla also loved cats. She had many cats throughout her life, but Barney was her favorite, most loyal companion. Carla's been a huge supporter of the local Kitten Rescue. She would attend and donate to their garage sales and give monetary donations. If she could, she would have done more Carla loved her family dearly and will be missed immensely. We hope she's up in heaven smiling down with her husband and children alongside her.
