Jeannie was like a sister to me! We shared lots of time together when we were both young! But as we got our own families and were busy with our own individual lives we grew apart in person but she was special always. We had a lot of good times & I admired her for taking the time and money to come to Kansas for Aunt Dot’s last days. Jeannie will always be remembered by her Kansas family! She was the oldest Cousin and my first niece! She will be in my prayers forever and I will never forget her! Thank you for letting me tell you how lucky our family was!
It’s hard to lose a sibling but it’s easier with thoughts of happy days.
God bless us all! Aunt Peg

Jeannie welcomed me to the Girl Scouting community in the early 2000's ., teaching me much about life along the way! I have such amazing memories of scout meetings, events, camping, and the simple joy of being part of a community. Once you became her friend, she remained steadfast, always having your back and giving of herself. Know that she loved her family beyond all else. I will miss her.

I first met Jeannie at Kirkland Jr High school. She was a sweet girl who always wore a smile. We graduated together, and then lost contact. After our 40th high school reunion, a group of women who had at least high school (Lake Washington) in common, formed a close group who met on a quarterly basis. Then covid came along and we went virtual. At our 50th reunion in 2022 our group hung together to include a "pajama party" after with some of us who had local lodging. That included Jeannie. It was so much fun reminiscing and just yakking late into the night. So looked forward to spending more real time with Jeannie as covid became manageable. I am so sorry for her recent struggles and sad that she won't be joining us again. She loved her family which was obvious as she talked about you all all of the time. She was much loved, and we will miss her immensely.
