Raymond Garcia Nunez Jr. passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was the son of Raymond and Josephine Nunez, born on October 2, 1942, in Blythe, California.
Ray was a devoted, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He had a huge heart full of love and compassion. He didn’t think twice about caring for others when there was a need.
Ray served his country in the United States Army. When he was stationed in Fort Lewis he met the love of his life, Alice. They were married for fifty-seven years. Together they had two children.
He is survived by his daughter: Sandra (Victor) Martinez, grandchildren: John (Megan) Nunez, Richard (Sheridan) Bulley, Peyton Bulley, Preston (Jana) Bulley, great grandchildren Scarlett, and Krue Bulley
Sisters Monica (Harvey) Sterkenburg, Barbara (Jerry) Morton, Christina (Javier) Verdugo, Terri (Rick)Warner; and several nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his father Raymond Nunez, mother Josephine Nunez, son Richard Nunez, wife Alice Nunez, and his brother Rueben Nunez.
