Stix was such a character. I have known him since 2011 and greatly appreciated his friendship. He always had an opinion and if he wanted you to hear it, you would. He enjoyed cooking and would always bring what he made to share with others. If he caught wind that you were sick, there would be a home made batch of Chicken Noodle on your doorstep the next day. When I first met him he told me about how he really liked to use Bay Leaves when cooking. He had a rule, whoever got a Bay Leaf in their dish, had to kiss the cook. He would say, I just don't get it, I know I threw 6 or 7 in there but no one gave me a kiss. He was such a selfless soul and would take the shirt off his back for anyone who he thought needed it more. He liked to crochet slippers/boots and would make them for anyone who he was close to and donated them to the homeless shelters, he knew what it was like to have cold feet and be less fortunate. Stix was happiest with his horses and they loved him dearly, I think getting one last nuzzle from Moon is what gave him the peace to let go. I kept our promise and waited until after you passed away to cut my hair off. Love you, Always & Forever
