Harold/KJ7HSH was a fellow Amateur Radio Operator volunteer in the Mason County Emergency Management Communication Unit. (COMMU) He spent endless hours doing the boring chores of equipment upkeep, but was always there on training exercises and missions over the last five years. His experiences in his military career and work at the local shipyard gave him valuable skills that helped us almost daily in getting our jobs done. That smile on his face when we were done said it all to us - he was happy about it. I've posted a picture of Harold on a mission at Hamm Hamma Trailhead early October 2023, doing what he liked most, field radio operations. Harold will be missed by his friends at the COMMU and the Mason County Amateur Radio Community. My heartfelt THANKS to Harold for all he did for me in our short time together.
