My condolences to Rosie's family. Our families (parents and grandparents) were close personal friends, and her Dad was a wonderful role model for a young boy like me. Rosie and I were friends from her earliest days at the Ranger Station in Upson through our High School years. We both played saxophones in the High School Band. In a bittersweet time of happy memories and grief a lifetime passes by leaving a warmth knowledge that ours was a lifetime of friendship and respect. She will be missed by many friends in this part of the world. Blessings to the family for comfort and peace at this sad time.

I am happy that I was a small part of Rosie's life. I got to spend wonderful times with her and Ed and her sister Julie and the kids at the beach. There was always great food cooking on her stove and always enough to share even if you came unannounced. I know she will me missed by many people. Karen Reynolds

I feel so blessed to have had Aunt Rosie in my life and have so many memories with her in them. She always had a smile on her face and was always welcoming and cheerful. I am glad that my girls were able to meet her too. We were all blessed to have know Aunt Rosie.

Rosie Was Such A Good Mom So Many Memories She Loved Life Friends family.And friends she taught me well how to love and care for people and all living things. once a bird flew into her window and got knocked out she ran outside and Held It In Her Hands Until It Flew away.

My two children had Rosie as a teacher, and I worked with her when she was at A. J. West. One memory concerns my daughter, Jennifer. I would get her after school and ask what she learned that day. She would tell me Mrs. Stricker had on red stockings. The next day it would be black spiders on her stockings. The next day It might be stockings with blue flowers, or green eye lashes. My son Michael was in Mrs. Stricker's last class at A.J. West. He was 7 yrs. old and will be 37 yrs. old tomorrow...Ask him who is favorite teacher was and he can tell you...Mrs. Stricker. Many years later we even wrote her a note to share with her how wonderful she was and how much we still to this day, talk about her. I am sorry for your loss but understand how you are feeling as I just lost my mother on Aug. 14th, I am sure they are both watching over all of our families. Just know that everyday she went to work she made a difference in some childs life and I know that for a fact as my son is proof of that! She would be so proud if she could see him today! Thanks for sharing your mom with us!
