Suk Brown Obituary

Suk Brown was born in South Korea. She was married to Allan Brown until his death. She became a partner to Robert Greenlee who also preceded her in death.

Suk always had a smile on her face. She always paid her way, never owing anyone. She worked hard for herself and others. She was a giver.

Suk had no children of her own but with Allan, she had a step-son, Guy Brown and his wife. They gave her a grandson, Chris.

She also had Nancy Hinchcliffe, Robert’s daughter, who was close to her for many years until her death.

Suk was a caretaker for her mother, 1st husband, sister-Sally and her husband, and then Robert.

She became a deacon of her church until sickness prevented her from doing her job. She continued to go to church every Sunday unless she was too sick to attend.

Suk’s fun was going to Lucky Eagle Casino where she loved to gamble. She also loved to play Bingo with her friends and family.

She loved to plant her garden and share it with her church and friends.

Her love of Korean music, shows and drama was her latest joy. She constantly listened to her music and even sang along.

This poem was a special one between her and Robert:

To the living, I am gone, To the sorrowful, I will never return, To the angry, I was cheated, But to the happy, I am at peace, And to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot speak, but I can listen. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea, As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity, Remember me. Remember me in your heart: Your thoughts, and your memories, Of the times we loved, The times we cried, The times we fought, The times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never have gone.
