Lois Wagner Obituary

Lois Jean Wagner, 59, passed away unexpectedly on August 30th, 2024. Lois was born on

December 19th, 1964 to Charles “Al” Wagner and Vicki (Hall) Harmon.


Lois grew up in Shelton, WA and graduated from Shelton High School. She was involved in

multiple sports including basketball, volleyball, and softball. She also studied at South Puget

Sound Community College and Centralia College. Lois worked for many years at Taylor Station,

where she started as a dishwasher and learned her craft of cooking for others. She went on to

work at Mary M Knight school as Head Cook. She continued her career in school food service

as the Head Cook & Kitchen Manager for Hood Canal School, where she worked for the past

several years.


Lois was a beloved mom, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and coworker. She made everyone around

her laugh with her quick wit and sarcasm. Lois was passionate about helping others and often

opened her arms to those in need. She was a beautiful soul who will be deeply missed by those

who knew her. Lois was an avid fan of baseball, and especially the Seattle Mariners.


Lois was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her stepmom Millie Wagner of

Shelton, daughter Megan Smith of Seattle, her siblings, Barbara (Jan Jitze) Krol of Oceanside,

CA, Ann (Jeff Johns) Wagner of Shelton, Kris Wagner of Tacoma, Tricia (Gary) Woolett of

Shelton, Cory (Diana) Wagner of Port Orchard, and Edward Wagner of Shelton, along with her

nieces and nephews, a large extended family, her cat Lucky, and an extensive network of

friends.
