John Dixon July 22, 1933 - September 6, 2024 Born to Stanley and Alice Dixon in Cheshire England It is known that the dash between your birth and death represents the opportunity we had to live our life. John Dixon lived a very full life with accomplishments many would never experience. As a young man his dream was to immigrate to the United States of America and join the US Air Force. He made the trek across the ocean and did just that. Serving 20 years as a Flight Engineer in the Air Force. He was so very proud to serve this country and his stories were endless. After retiring from the Air Force, he owned a Rental Equipment business and then finished up his career days at Boeing. He loved life, his kids and his wife with a passion and everyone was aware of his opinions daily . His home mirrored his life with military memorabilia and his love for the Western life with an ample amount of cowboy hats and John Wayne pictures. John ’s presence and words of wisdom will be missed but forever ingrained in our hearts. John is survived by his wife, Leilani. Children, Leslie Tripp (Mike), Jo Marie Barnhill (David), Wayne Dixon ( Leslie), stepson Jon Jacobson and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. John will be laid to rest on Friday, September 13th at 12:30 in the Tahoma National Cemetery.
