Dena Marie Hug 7-8-1960 - 9-28-2024

Dena was born July 8th in Collin County Texas.

She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband, son Larry, and other family members as well as her devoted sidekick, her dog Itty.

She was proud of being a Texan and was a true-blue Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved them when they were winning and swore like a sailor at them when they were not.

She is survived by her husband Karl, her son Larry, daughter in law Julieann, six sister Barbie, Sukkari (Bret) Jackie Anderson (Robert) Janet Daigle (Lou) Jean Saey, LuJuanna Boren (Danny) Toni Silva, one brother Billy David (Lori), nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews all of which she loved sincerely.

She proceeded in death by her only daughter Candice (Candy) Marie Roberts, and her mother's Barbara Best, Evelyn Saey, and sister Joyce Kane.

There will be no service for Dena (per her request) however; a celebration of life will be held in her honor on a later date. (date and location TBD).

She loved Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, camping, fishing, Parleys Canyon or just sitting outside watching the hummingbirds and enjoying nature.

In her memory if you desire you can light a candle at church, spread red or yellow rose petals in any ocean, lake or creek or donate in her name to any charity that helps in the betterment of animals and their overall well-being.

Dena loved her family so deeply so keep her spirit alive in your minds and hearts. Also know that she will be watching over all she loved.
