Sherrie Lou Guinasso It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Sherrie Guinasso on October 6, 2024. Sherrie was born on December 31, 1945, in Seattle, Washington, to Orlo “Bud” and Mary Salter. Sherrie grew up in the West Seattle area and married Joseph Guinasso on April 28, 1967. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew, and her parents, Bud and Mary Salter. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband Joe, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Karen, daughter Gina, and beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Natalie, and Nicolas. Sherrie is also survived by her loving brother and sister, Mike Salter and Mary Jo Keil, and many adored nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Sherrie had a deep love for family and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was a strong and resilient woman but it’s her warmth and kindness that will be remembered most. The family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of support. The memorial service is Tuesday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Parish, 4139 42nd Ave SW, Seattle WA, 98116. A private burial is planned.
