George served his country as a Marine in the Marine Corps. Years later, he worked for and retired from the Mohawk Company. Since George was not one to stay idle, he later worked as a security guard for the Lake Cushman area. He always enjoyed working as well as spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed his time at his cabin in Hoodsport working in his yard and sitting on the porch visiting with family. He will be remembered most for the times he spent with his children and other family members visiting his parents in their Maple Valley home.
