Obituary of Sandra Hutchins

Sandra Jean Hutchins (Paul), 84, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, in Tacoma, WA. She was born in Shelton, WA on February 13, 1940. She went to Irene S. Reed High School and furthered her education at Olympia Technical Community College. Sandra dedicated many years of service to the Department of Corrections before retiring. Sandra had a profound love for horses, a hobby that brought her immense joy throughout her life. She was also a member of the Jehovah Witness community, where she engaged deeply with her faith and fellowship. While her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of strength and determination will undoubtedly live on through her family and those she impacted throughout her life. Sandra is survived by: her sons Greg Story (Becky), Jeff Story, and Mark Story; her daughter, Jill Story (Kelly); granddaughters Kirsten, Sarah and Bobbie Story; and great granddaughters Shaylee and Braelyn Story. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Paul; mother, Beverly Bond (Moon); brothers, Jim and Artie Paul; and her grandson, Travis Story. Sandra will be laid to rest with her mother and aunt in Shelton, WA. She is at peace now. Arrangements are by McComb and Wagner Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
