Patricia Starks Obituary

Patricia Marie Starks (Pat), passed away November 14, 2024 at Providence Mother

Joseph Care Center in Olympia, Washington. She was 87.

Pat was born July 26, 1937 in Alhambra, California. She was the daughter of

Arthur and Elizabeth LaCues.

After graduating High School, Pat married Clarence Starks in 1955 in Baldwin Park,

California. They moved to Elma, Washington in 1972, where they operated a dairy

farm until retiring in 1995.

Pat is survived by two sons, Jim (Cindy) and Dan (Robin); her two sisters Elizabeth

Call and Jeanne Santoro, 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and

many beloved nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her husband

Clarence and her eldest son Randy.

Pat felt most at home during her many years of farm life. She also found reward

with her 50-year association with the Sharon Grange in Porter, her years as a

board member of the Elma Senior Citizens organization, and many blessed years

of fellowship within the Faith Lutheran Church of Elma.

Pat was an accomplished quilter and spent many hours with various groups

pursuing this hobby, (though in recent years there may have been more visiting

than quilting). Pat successfully achieved her goal to provide quilts to all her

grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private family inurnment at the Elma Masonic Cemetery is planned for a later

date.

Cremation Services are being arranged by McComb & Wagner of Shelton, WA.
