Ismael Rabago Jr. "JR" 72, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024 after a long illness. Born in San Antonio, TX, he resided in Shelton WA for the last 20 years. Ismael loved to travel and being outdoors, spending time at the beach picking oysters at Lilliwaup, and going on long drives along Hood Canal. He was a meat cutter by trade, and he was an excellent cook.
He leaves behind his life partner Danna Ramquist, his daughter Celine Rabago (Hans), brothers Ricardo Rabago (Jill), Bernardo Rabago (Lynn), Roberto Rabago (Angeles), and Mark Anthony Rabago. Sisters Rosa Elia Ramos (Baudilio), Sandra Luz Gonzales (Corando), Sonia Medina (Oscar), Elsa Papadakis (Wade), and Veronica Ford (Frank). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Ismael and Isabel Rabago and his brother Oscar Rabago.
He will be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, and his devotion to family and friends.
A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
