Obituary of Susan Jan Zorn
Susan was born in Bremerton. Her career spanned 30 years working in dental offices in the Bremerton area.
Susan's passion for music made her part of the award winning Olympia Sweet Adelines, with whom she proudly sang with internationally, including at Carnegie Hall. She also sang with the Shelton “A Cappella Belles” up until her passing.
Through the Shelton Christmas Town Quilters, Susan's love of quilting allowed her to donate several quilts to newborn babies. Actively serving in the Shelton Elks #2467 since 1985, she was president of the Ladies of Elks and acquired many life-long friendships.
Susan is preceded in death by her soul mate Col. Jack Zorn and survived by her sons Jeff and Troy Summerill; and grandchildren Amy, Troy, Gabrielle, Ashleigh, Maeghan and Casen.
Susan was loved by many and will be truly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at the Shelton Elks Lodge, May 24, from 2 to 4 p.m.
