Julie was an avid and vocal fan of Saint Martin's Women's basketball having played on the team while a student at Saint Martin's College (now University). I remember attending a game with her when she returned to Olympia and her not being the least bashful about "coaching" the team from the sidelines.
It difficult to believe that her gregarious personality is now in heaven.
