Obituary of Ann Marie Marshall-Thatcher

Ann Marie Marshall, a long-time Shelton resident of 64 years, died at home of natural causes on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. She was born October 20, 1928 to Francis Mutti and Claire (Throckmorton) Mutti in San Francisco, California. She married Frank B. Marshall on September 9, 1950 in Reno, Nevada. They were married 25 years. Ann worked as a store clerk at Tradewell and Safeway for 35 years. Ann loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music, watching sports and playing cards. Ann was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Leverentz of Halfmoon Bay, CA, Claire Hitchings of Shelton, WA, Joan Mutti of San Francisco, CA, and brother, Frank Mutti of Pacifica, CA. Ann is survived by her eight children; sons, Robert Mutti, Rick Marshall, Jerry Marshall of Shelton, WA, Tom Marshall and spouse Diane Turner-Marshall of AZ; daughters, Joan Marshall-Engen and spouse Howard Engen of Shelton, WA, Judy Marshall-Ralph and spouse Jr. Ralph of Yuba City, CA, Terri Marshall-Head and spouse Jeff Head of Cle Elum, WA, Mary Marshall-Jones and spouse Steven Jones of Shelton, WA; as well as her 29 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A potluck celebration of life will be held at 1pm Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2509 E. Pershing Court, Shelton, WA 98584. Memorials may be made to Providence Sound Home Care and Hospice.
