Obituary of Cecil Eugene Barker

Cecil E. Barker, 58, died July 5, 2015 in Olympia, Wash., after several medical complications. He was born May 22, 1957, the son of Albert D. Barker, Chanute, KS, and Jenna L. Barker, Olympia, Wash. He is survived by his daughter Heather Busch of Skokie Ill., his mother, Jenna Barker, of Olympia Wash., his father and step-mother, Albert and Juanita Barker, Chanute, KS, five brothers, Steve Barker, Scott Barker and Eric Barker, all of Chanute, Tim Barker Tacoma. Wash., and Tom Barker of Olympia, Wash. Two sisters, Robin (Barker) Olberding, Chanute, Leah (Barker) Drinkwine, Camas, Wash., and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his two-year-old triplet grandchildren, Guriel, Zmira, and Hallel Busch, of Skokie, Illinois. Cecil graduated from Tumwater High School with the Class of 1975, served four years in the Navy, and received an honorable discharge. He enjoyed traveling, riding his Harley, rock & roll, and spending time with family and friends. Cecil was loved by many and will be missed. A memorial service will take place in Olympia, Wash., in late August.
