Obituary of Vera Ruth Olson

Vera Ruth Olson, 64, was called home to The Lord at her home in Belfair Washington on a sunny Monday of July 13, 2015, with her family at her side. Born January 11, 1951 to Homer and Virginia Davis in Highlandville, Missouri. Ruthie was a unique and caring person who touched the lives of all who knew her. She met Eric K Olson in 1969 and they were married in 1980, together they raised six loving children, Ruthie was totally devoted to all her children and grandchildren in all aspects of their lives. She spent her time enjoying nature, gardening, collecting rocks, making candles, reading scriptures, but most of all guiding her children to know God. She was reunited in death with her dad James Homer Davis, her mom Virginia Ellen Davis, her brother Charles H Davis, and her sister Diana G Davis-Ciro. She is survived by her brother Jim Davis, and three sisters Carol Armstrong, Barbara Triclel, Trula Lewis-Hummerick, six kids Michelle R Davis-Hunter (Garland), Michael T Davis, Karla M Olson-Castillo (Ruben), Steven J.W. Olson (Heather), Travis E Olson (Jesika), Troy K Olson (Kayla), and 12 grandchildren, along with her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Celebration of life will be held on August 15, 2015 at Theler Community Center in Belfair, Washington from 2-6pm, please wear tye-dye or bright colors. In lieu of flowers or donations we ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, friend, or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour or a day. Time waits for no one.
