Obituary of David Archie Biggs

David Archie Biggs passed away at his home in Elma on August 5th. David was born December 10, 1940 in Oysterville, WA. After graduating from Ocosta High School, David attended Grays Harbor College and then served in the Air Force for seven years. He then continued his education at Central University earning a bachelor’s degree in teaching. David taught at Lake Quinault high school from 1970-1973. He then moved to Hoquiam and worked at his dad’s shake mill and in the oyster cannery. Later David went to work full time for the US postal service, which he retired from in 2002. David enjoyed being active in his grandchildren’s lives attending their numerous racing and sporting events. David is best known for his love of Mopars, die cast cars, and racing. David is survived by his mother, Iva, wife Jackie, sons Atom (Sonja), Troy (Alana), Jay (Mandy), Brandon (Charity), and Damon, his brother Alan, sister Lila (Pete) and several grandchildren. A memorial service will be held August 15th at 2pm at the McCleary VFW hall.
