Obituary of Caroline Leacinda Natland
Born September 6, 1959 in Tacoma, WA to Neil and Bobbi Anne (Nicolet) Eicher. Died August 6, 2015 at home with her family in Union, WA.She grew up in Puyallup and attended Rogers High School, graduating in 1977.
After graduation, she moved to Port Orchard and began working at Myhre's Cafe, where she was a waitress for 20 years. Her daughter, Bobbie Jean Stanley was born in 1983, making Caroline a mother for the first time.
She married Jim Natland in 1997 and they married March 25, 1998. Together thay had two daughters, Kirsten Nichole in 1998 and Hannah Fern in 1999. Caroline's greatest pleasure was watching her girls grow up into young women.
In 2004, the family moved to Union, WA to enjoy the peace and quiet of country living. Caroline was a member of the New Community Church of Union, where she taught Sunday School for a couple of years.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, rock hunting, reading her bible, and most recently enjoyed her guilty pleasure watching the Real Housewives shows.
Caroline was a strong Christian woman whose smile and laughter would light up a room. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Neil, and her sister, Cherri Jones. Survivors include her husband, Jim, and daughters Kirsten and Hannah, of the family home. She is also survived by daughter Bobbie Jean (David), of Kenmore, and stepson James, of Port Orchard, her mother Bobbi Anne, brothers Dennis and Robert, Tacoma, and sister Louise Anderson of Oregon. She also had numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held September 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Union Fire Department Community Hall. Remembrances to New Community Church of Union, PO Box 232, Union, WA 98592.
