Obituary of Wanda Lee Dickinson

Wanda Lee Dickinson transitioned from this life to her Heavenly home on December 7, 2015. Wanda was born on November 24, 1931 in McAlester, Oklahoma. She was a beautiful young woman who enjoyed life, and in so doing, she met and married Walt Dickinson of Okmulgee, Oklahoma who preceded her in death. Walt and Wanda are survived by their two devoted children, Rebecca Johnson and her husband, Mark of Olympia and Tom Dickinson of Miami, Oklahoma, two grandchildren, Jenny Northcutt and Brittney Barin, and six great grandchildren, all of whom were deeply loved. Wanda is also survived by two dear and loving sisters in Oklahoma, Patsy Cravens and Mary Lou Criswell and husband Jack, as well as beloved nieces and nephews. Wanda moved from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Olympia in 2011 upon the death of her husband. Always interested in meeting people and living life, she made friends in her new surroundings and especially enjoyed the company of her companion, Don McElvain. Wanda was loved by her family and her friends. She will be remembered often and dearly missed. Services will be held at the Mountain View Church on Saturday, December 12th at 3:00 p.m.
