Gordon Boock

Obituary of Gordon Emil Boock

Gordon Emil Boock Jr was Born in Puyallup, WA to proud parents Gordon Emil Boock Sr & Jeannette Marie Cooley. He was surrounded during his childhood by loving Grandparents as well as brothers and sisters. Always a funny guy with a wonderful sense of humor, playing the trumpet with Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass blaring on the record player. Gordie took German in High School and everyone in the house learned several words right along with him. He attended Mt. Tahoma High until he enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. During his time in Vietnam Gordie could think of little else than coming home to a bright eyed, fiery red head that stole his heart. He could not wait to call her his wife! Together Gordie & Dolores made a home and a life that included the addition of 2 little blonde girls. Those 2 little blonde girls (Tammy & Wendy) would forever be grateful to their parents for the love and guidance that was shared. There were lessons learned and discipline given but most of all there was love...always love. There will be a tribute to honor Gordie on January 17th at 1pm at the Victor Improvement Club in Allyn. Gordie is preceeded in death by his loving wife and Soulmate Dolores Boock, Daughter Wendy Boock Zirkle, Father Gordon Boock Sr & Step-Mother Ida Boock. He is survived by his Mother Jeannette Cooley & Step-Father Max Appelgate, Brothers Harold Appelgate & Bob Adams, Sisters Karen Reynolds & Kathy Aiken, Daughter Tammy Boock Klein, Grandkids Justin Taylor, Nick Klein & Kenzie Klein.
